How my friends would describe me:

Diana Bocco is a writer and columnist who doesn't know where home is –She's lived in New York City, South America, and Siberia, and plans on globetrotting until she finds the perfect spot to build her dream wood cabin. She likes all animals except roaches and hasn't eaten meat for the last 12 years, but she has no problems having her characters chopped off to pieces if the story calls for it (and sometimes regardless).

Specializing in fitness and nutrition topics, Diana has written hundreds of articles for both print and online magazines. She loves research, especially the old-fashioned kind that requires lots of trips to very old libraries. As well as health features, Diana writes pieces on almost anything else you can think of, from how to predict the weather to the history of the rollercoaster. While Diana can practically write non-fiction in her sleep (in fact, she once fell asleep on her desk and woke up to a finished article she doesn't remember writing), novels are her true passion. She's currently working on two books that require lots of research and where the characters are --not surprisingly-- chopped off to pieces.

When she's not writing, Diana spends time picking up stray animals, reading obscure little books in foreign languages, and planning crazy stunts like parachuting and hiking in Ojmjakon (you have to look it up to understand).
